Mainline station at Ashchurch
Ashchurch for Tewkesbury is a railway station serving the North Gloucestershire and South Worcestershire Area from near Tewkesbury. The station is located less than 1⁄4 mile (400 m) from junction 9 of the M5 motorway and located on the Bristol to Birmingham main line 7 1⁄4 miles (11.7 km) north of Cheltenham Spa. It was re-opened on 1 June 1997. There are regular bus connections from near the station to Tewkesbury, which is located two miles to the west. The main hamlets and settlements of Ashchurch Rural Parish Council are also located within easy reach of the station. There is parking at the station which is itself situated just a few yards from the main highway thoroughfare of the A46 through the parish.
