The Hamlet of Natton
Natton lies to the south of the Tirle brook. First records of the settlement can be traced back as far a 1087 and it is believed to be one of the primary sites of settlement across the Parish. The hamlet accommodates up to nine residential properties and five small businesses.
Natton was the last meeting place of Seventh-Day Baptists in the provinces. Earliest mention of the group dates back to the late 16C and the last burial at Natton Seventh Day Baptist burial ground was in 1947. This has been recorded in an article in the transactions of the Bristol & Gloucestershire Archaelogical Society.
